The Netherlands debuted in Eurovision in 1956 and won five times. They faced a non-qualification streak from 2005 to 2012. Anouk broke the streak in 2013, and Duncan Laurence won in 2019. Despite past challenges, the Netherlands has been a strong Eurovision participant in recent years.
