“Volevo essere un duro” was Italy’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Performed by Lucio Corsi, the song reflected on childhood, identity, and the pressure to become someone you’re not. With glam rock influences, poetic lyrics, and a 70s flair, it gently questioned what it means to grow up—and whether that’s ever what we truly wanted.

The artwork by Persicaria Grey captured this theme in a soft, surreal composition full of colour and character. A bittersweet nod to imagination, memory, and the masks we wear.
